NHU AFRICA (Natural History Unit
of Africa) commissions, co-produces and distributes wildlife
documentaries for both international and local broadcasters.
Other NHU AFRICA initiatives include the Wild Talk Africa film festival
and conference, which attracts the global wildlife filmmaking industry,
and the Wildlife Film Academy, which trains students in wildlife
filmmaking. In addition, NHU AFRICA assists independent filmmakers by
facilitating access to HD equipment and annually hosts the prestigious
Wildlife Photographer of Year exhibition.
